SOUTH AFRICAN TOUR. (By Telfcgraph—Per Press Association.) WEI.IINGTON, Dec. 13. The Cape paper says that the redrafted itinerary /or the South African football tour has not yet been confirmed, but whether our visitors play 22 or 21 matches, a jaunt to Victoria Falls, and a game in Rhodesia have been arranged. If only 21 matches are agreed to by the New Zealand Union, the Border Union will proha lily lose one.
M ANACK.It. APPOINTED. WELLINGTON, Dec. 14. Mr W. F. llornig, of Wellington, was to-night appointed manager ol the New Zealand llughy team to tour South Africa in 1928. The Management Committee of the N.Z I{.U turned down the suggestion of sending an assistant-manager. The South African Union offered to pay the expenses of an assistsnt-nuuiagei if the New Zealand Union really considered one was necessary, but pointed out that their own manager would also be travelling with the New Zealand team.
