(Australian A N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON. Dec. 13. At Rugby, Cambridge beat Oxford by 22 to 14. RUGBY UNION REPLY. WELLINGTON. Dec. 14. Commenting on the cable from Sydney, Mr Dean (Chairman of the New Zealand Rugby Union) states the present intention of the All Blac's is to play no matches prior to arrival in Africa. The risk of injury to players is not only a serious matter hut the travel arrangements prevent matches. The team will he in Sydney for a few hours only, and the question of a match at Melbourne has never been officially discussed by the committee. Air Dean added that the relationship between New Zealand and New South Wales had always been most cordial and ho hoped they would continue to ho so. A meeting of the Management Committee to-night is expected to finally settle the managership of the team.
