ed for beef extract, lozenges and oxygen flasks and other things. Inconsistent with the claims lie thereon nonchalantly drove a half dozen hatpins in his cheeks, ears and neck, and calmly lay in the coffin, enveloped in a band of cloth ten yards long, the ends being sealed to prevent removal. The authorities insisted that a small wooden shaft, nine inches square should be left in order that the face he visible through the glass top. When the coffin was lowered, the grave was filled in.
