LATE LOCALS.

Addisons have opened to-day a selection of dainty frocks.—Advt. Advice from Christchurch states that Mr R, H. Richmond, the well-known dentist, formerly of Greymouth, was found dead in bed at Christchurch this morning. Deceased was a well-known resident of Greymouth for many years and a prominent member of the Alasonic Order. The funeral of the late Airs Peebles of Arahura Road took place on Tuesday afternoon to Hokitika cemetery and was attended by a large number of friends. Tbe Rev. J. AA’. Hayward conducted tbe service at tbe residence and tbe graveside, on which were placed many floral tributes from sorrowing friends.
