Both new airships could in war time be converted Into air force carriers, probably of the type of Webster’s Schneider Cup winner, which bv virtue of speed is practically immune from gun fire. At the wool sales 10.293 bales were offered, of which 5,380 were Australian and 4913 New Zealand wool. There was an average selection of merinos suitable for both Yorkshire and the Continent.
