ADELAIDE, Dec. 3. In the Sheffield Shield match. Victoria v. South Australia, Victoria in the first innings have lost two " K 'ke ts for 30.3 (Woodfull 43. Ponsford 133. Hendry not out 95, Ryder not out 2’_>. Rain in the morning did not dampen the covered wicket, but the outfield was slow and dead, and a short drizzle in the forenoon ina<lo conditions trick}• After a slow start, there was brilliant and interesting cricket. Ponsford and Hendry for the second wicket added 104 in quick time, Hendry and Ryder keeping things moving merrily till rain stopped play for the day at 5.30 o’clock.
