NEXT THURSDAY’S MONSTER ENTERTAINMENT

An inset in to-day’s town issue gives detailed particulars of Miss James’ entertainment at the Princess Theatre on Thursday next in aid of the Mental Hospital wireless fund. It will |)e seen at once that patrons will have a very attractive evening’s entertainenieiit placed before them.

The first part will consist of a children’s pretty play, entitled ‘‘Princess Tenderheart.” It is in two scenes and the performers include those who have been prominent at the elocutionary competitions. It in a costume play and should piove most enjoy a We. The second part will bo a miscellaneous programme of music (vocal and instrumental) and elocutionary nu’.nl>ers, several of the latter being humorous, while there will be some character sketches, all in costume, also. The performers include Miss M. Coburn, of Greymouth, violinist, who was awarded the silver cup for the best all round musician at the 1927 Competitions, and the following prizewinners at the Hokitika Competitions, Misses Veale, Knight, Bortoa, Lynn, Ward. Hughes, Wormington, McGavin, Ross, Masters Coles and McGavin. and others. Altogether there will I>e a very special program me.

Seats may he reserved at Mclntosh’s.
