I here was a small attendance at the -Municipal Theatre to-night, when Harry Casey (Australian holder) met Jim Broadloot (Auckland) for the professional middleweight title. I luce iini' preliminary bouts put the crowd in a good humour for tho big event. Casey had tho better of the opening round and had Rroadfoot down lor seven and eight in the second session. Rroadfoot came hack strongly over the middle stage, and was going great guns at the finish. The verdict of a draw was well received. In the second preliminary, daggers (Christchurch) heat McEwan (Invercargill).
