The Secretary of Labour has reported that tho United States admitted 538,001'Siliens during the fiscal year ended ,30th June, which was an increase of 4,895 over the previous \eai. During the year 253,508 aliens left the country and 180,142 declared their intention of returning. Three-fourths of all immigrants entering United States were between eighteen and forty-four years of age. CANADIAN DUTIES. OTTAWA, Nov. 28. A large delegation, representing Canadian dairy interests, will interview’Cabinet to-morrow, urging the restoration of the dumping duij against New Zealand butter.
