GIRLS’ CONFESSIONS. TOKYO, Nov. 17
The police announce that confessions have been secured from the Korean girls arrested in connection with the Tokvo celebrations of the Soviet anniversary, showing the existence of a widespread Korean plot to spread sedition in Japanese University student circles. Radicals make the counter-charge that the police tortured the prisoners arrested during the celebration, subjectin'* the’ girls to various outrages, the latter signing a prepared confession in order to escape from further torture.
