.. CANADIAN WHEAT. OTTAWA, Nov. 14. Tlie annual statement of Canada wheat pool is published. The pool handled during the year 179,950,212 bushels, out of a total of 931,500,000 handling in Canadian West. Grain was shipped to twenty-four countries through sixty ports. Britain was the chief importer with fifty million bushels. Gross receipts from grain sales was 291,710,000, and total costs deductable 70,815,000 dollars, leaving 218,931,000 dollars net for distribution among pool members in Alberta, .Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The report I states never has there been so much tough damp wheat, this requiring the development of a new European market, for th/^frade.
