The Ashurst races were held to-day in line weather, with a large attendance. The tote registered £15,150 compared with .£10,310 last year. Results :—-

Won by half a length; two lengths. Time 1.5. Puhangina Handicap.—(l) Runogne 1, |3) Arrow Lad 2, (2.) Mircusontn 3. A head each way. Time 1.17 2-5. Siberia Hack.—First Division: (3) .Miss Put I, (l) Yast Acre 2, (0) Lady Cvnthia 3. Won by n head; thiec lengths. Time 1.10 1-5. Second Division: (18) llorsnlene 1, (15) Maui 2, iI) Silver Tray 3.
