The Levin Racing Club’s meeting took place to-day in beautifully fine weather, but the course was heavy after the recent rain. The winners of the first three races were trained by J. P. Coyle (Awapuni). The sum of €19,112 was put through compared with £18,573 of last year. Results;—
ALmnkau Hurdles.—(3) Mister Gamp 1, (1) Vexatious 2, (8) Chrissarto 3. Won by three lengths. Time 2.50. Wcraroa Handicap.—(7) Some Lad 1, (2) Excess 2. (3) Arclion 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.31 1-5. -Maiden Handicap.— (3) Desert Lad 1, (5) Plane 2, (2) Broad Acre 3. Won by a head. 'Time 1.16. Makomako Handicap.—(ll) Bissnol, (10) Cnrrignllen 2, (7) Maui 3. Won by a nose; a head. Time 1.15 1-5. Levin Cup.—(l) Paitonu 1. (3) AVaicullus 2, (2) Aimlo 3. Won by half a length; three Inegths. Time 2.11. Lake Handicap.—(l) Henna 1, (2) Twink 2, (3) Arclion 3. Won by a length and a-hnlf. No time was taken. McDonald Memorial.—(l) Afireusonta 1. (2) Orcades 2, (5) Deluge 3. Won by a long neck. Time 1.14. ITokio Handicap.—(l) Miss Pat 1, (2) Elka 2. (0) Sinking Star 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.23 3-5. LONDON, Nov. 18. The Derby Cup.—Blackness 1, Inversion 2, Samphire II 3. Eleven started. Won bv a neck.
