SCPREME COURT SENTENCES. CHRISTCHURCH. Nov. 18. At the Supreme Court prisoners were sentenced as- follows: Anker .Jakob Charles Jensen, common assault, probation for 12 months. William Roy McDonald, formerly manager of Christchurch Branch of Guardian Assurance Cov., theft of £215 from Coy. was admitted to probation for three years. Samuel Phoenix Briggs, a law clerk, for theft of £337 from clients’ estate, was admitted to probation for three years. Leslie Stanford Willetts, theft, breaking and entering, three years’ Borstal. Alexander Francis Robinson, theft of bicycle, six months’ gaol. Prisoner had a record. Frank Bissell. indecent exposure and obscene language, two years’ detention. Archibald Swain, forgery and false pretences, six months’ gaol.
