Air G. Coles, Acting Town Clerk has lseen advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that the Hon. L. C. M. S. Amery, Secretary of State for tho Colonies, will arrive iu Hokitika by train from Ross at neon on Monday, December 12th, and leave for the north again that afternoon about 2.39 p.m. by train. The Deputy-Mayor (Mr Y\'. -Jo I - fries) has ealLd a special meeting of tho Borough Council for Monday next at 5 p.'m. to make arrangements for the visit and also for the visit of tho Governor-General on December 3rd.
