(Australian it N.Z. Cable Association.) SOVIET AIEASURES. AIOSCOW, -nov. 15. Those expelled have been removed from the leading party and Government posts. Trotsky and Zinovielf were expelled on the grounds that they were responsible for all anti-party activity, which is clearly growing int anti-Soviet activity, undermining the dictatorship. The proletariat also organised illegal meetings and incurred displeasure by anti-party street demonstrations on the occasion of the revolution celebrations cabled on Nov. 7tli.
RUSSIAN LEADER EXPELLED
LONDON. Nov. 15
The British United Press correspondent at Aloseow reports that Trotsky and Zinovielf were expelled Iroin the Communist Party; and that Rameneff, Rakovsky and Smilga were expelled from the Central Executive. The decision followed a long conference of the Central Executive Control Committee which the supreme body is controlling the conduct and ethics ol party’s members. AN UNCON FIR AIED REPORT. BERLIN, Nov. 15. Unconfirmed Warsaw and Petrograd reports state that Trotsky has been assassinated.
