A cold .southerly wind, with rain, prevailed this morning and delayed the resumption of the cricket match between the New Zealand'touring team and The Rest of New Zealand, until 12.30 p.m. and even then the rain was still falling. Bowlers could do nothing with the greasy ball on a dead easy wicket. Heavy rain set in during the luncheon interval, and delayed play until 4.30.
