ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. Yesterday's entry at the above yards consisted of 63 head of fat cattle offered by Messrs AY. Jeffries and C'o. There was a. representative attendance of buyers and competition was quite good prices equalling those of the last sale when prime ox beef mndo to 45s per hundred. Medium weight were in keen demand and sold from 38s to 42s 6d. Lighter sorts round about 37s 6d. Some excellent cows made as high as 365, while heifer .beef at no time sold below 37s and as high ns 40s. There was a total clearance.
