Several questions concerning forestry matters were given notice ol by Mr 1. M. Wiltord (Hutt) in the House of Representatives last week.
Among other tilings, Mr M ill ord iceks the appointment of a commission ,o fully investigate the operations of die State Forest Service, and infortiiaion as- to how the discrepancy of 1.800,000 trees (in an appendix of the Department’s annual report) and the lalanee of £151.424 in tho report are u-eounted for.
