CANBERRA. Nov. 12. Sir George Pearce announced in the Senate that the gross profits from oil refineries last year amounted to £112.427 sterling, a net profit of £69,200. He said while there were differences of opinion on the question whether the information contained in the cables should have been disclosed officially, there could be nothing but alarm, at the fact that it was possible for the contents of confidential communications to be divulged.
