Notice of motion was given at the meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Athletic Association, dealing with tlie separation of New Zealand from Australia, and exempting both countries from the rule preventing Association athletes undertakings tours occupying lijoro than 21 days. The Wanganui delegates asked that Auckland Ik* requested to furnish an explanation of the disqualification of C. Gibbons at the championship meeting last February. This was referred to Mr MeVilly. tlie referee, who disqualified him.
