The AVaratahs fielded about their strongest side, hut Cambridge "ere without Williams, their hooker, and lost Morgan after thirty minutes. The AVaratahs in the first half saw much more of the ball and the passing in the back division was always sound and executed with judgment. Cambridge, although a man short, showed great improvement in the second half. AVaratahs did not get many chances after the interval when Cambridge finally roused themselves.
