A sensation has been caused in the cricket world hv the action of Yorkshire County Club in appointing Herbert Sutcliffe as County Captain. Sutcliffe remains a professional. LORD HAWKE’S VIEWS. It is understood lie agreed to accept if his name alone were submitted to the committee.
