An all'adavit on behalt ol the residents set out that, they objected in religious grounds, and sued lor tin dismissal ol the application. A special meeting of tbe New Zealand Golf Council to-dav decided that the 1928 New Zealand championships will be played on Balmacepvan links, Dunedin, provided certain alterations to boles seventeen and eighteen, as agreed upon by the Otago Golf Club and the council, are effected. The commencing date of the tournament will be approximately OetoberlO.
