HORSES AGAIX COMING INTO FAVOUR. LONDON, Oct. 27. The National Horse Association claims that the tide has turned in favour of the horse. More horses are working in London now than there were in 1913. There was a slump in horses after the war, but the Association says that it was a fortuitous* one, due to the heavy cheap surplus army motor lorries Many firms would now employ horses, but young drivers complain they lose caste by driving horses as compared with the motor drivers. The Horse Association is issuing posters and window cards championing the horse.
