MARINERS AND SUMMER TIME. Mariners are reminded in a notice in the ‘‘Gazette’’ that the Daylight Savins Bill will come into effect this year, | and that the time for general pnri poses will lie one hour in advance of New Zealand standard time. The notiie adds that the use of summer time will not affect the use of standard time for purposes of astronomy, meteorology, navigation, or affect the construction of any document mentioning a point of time in connection with any of those purposes. The hill will come into effect on the first Sunday in November, and will continue until the first Sunday in March, 1928,
