\ private telegram from Auckland reports the death of Aliss Kate Currie, a former well-known resident of Boss, who passed away peacefully on Sunday at the AVaitemata Hotel, where she had been employed for some years. Deceased, who was a popular resident of this district for many years, was a daughter of the late Air John HuntCurrie. a former Alayor of Ross, and a sister of Airs \V. J. Caulfield, of Christchurch and Alessrs James Cui-,-ie of the Railway Department, North Island and AH AVrn. Currie, at present in the Grey district.
