Greenlane Handicap—(2) Appeal J. (G) Blue wood 2, (8) Royal Bob 3. >Soi\ :Red Dennis. Caterpillar finished second but was disqualified for galloping. Won hy three lengths. Time 3,33 1-5. Birkett, the driver of Caterpillar was fined £5 for failing to bring his horse abek to the proper gait. Newmarket Handicap—(l) Uncle Bert 1, (12) A r an Rich 2, (1) Boh Logan 3. .Scr : Nelson Tasker and Goldman. Won by half a length. Time 3.21 1-5. Alexander Handicap l — (3) Mach i lie Gun 1. (1) Talaro 2. (G) Imprint 3. Scr. Tom Thumb. Won by 11 lengths. Time 4.30. Jewel Pointer was fourth.
