LORRY CRASHES INTO HOUSE.

WELLINGTON, Oct. IS. A lorry, loaded up to seven or eight tons ran down a steep hillside in Daniel! Street, Newtown and crashed through a concrete wall and stove in the side of a house wrecking a room and smashing much of the contents. A woman in the house next door was thrown down and articles were hurled from the shelves, causing her to think it was an earthquake. Fortunately no one was in the first house at the moment. The lorry had the wheels blocked and the break on, but apparently it started on its own account.
