The Waratalis nearly always secured from the scrum, bub were often penalized. E. Ford scored again in the first spell, but it was not converted. The second spell provided the best incident of the game, E. Ford crosskicking, and Greatorex running through from midfield, Lawton converting. Further scores obtained by Greatorex, E. Ford, Mann and Sheehan overwhelmed the Borderers, Lawton converting every one. Greatorex was outstanding and Ford’s speed delighted the crowd. The game ended with a win for the visitors by 36—0.
