(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) AVAR.ATAHS AT GLASGOW, j LONDON, Oct. 12. At Glasgow the New South Wales Rugby team won. by 8 to nil. Playing against a side containing a number ot international players, the Waratahs effected a splendid win. Lawton was outstanding on the New South A) a.les side, his repeatedly through-cutting and touch-kicking being magnificent. He was responsible for the only score ill the first half.
Tn the second hall, the Glasgow team started strongly, hut the- Australians’ defence was superb, and they soon regained the supremacy. It was only in the last minute, however. that Fox crossed near the posts, and Lawton converted.
