SYDNEY. Oct. 12. Tht Johnnie Walker, 900 yards, was won by S. Leech (Victoria). New Zealanders to win £1 sterling each are Carter, Money, Goodall, Green, Boon, Masefield, Powell, and Caguliley. SYDNEY, Oct. 11. Tlie rifle meeting was continued, today in perfect weather conditions. The New Zealander, Green, performed excellently in the Longfichl Handicap, the second most important event of the meeting. Although tlie official results will not he known until to-morrow, it is practically certain that he finished second to F. Agate, of Sydney. Green’s score was 279. Other New Zealanders’ scores were: Masefield 268. Carter 2(56. E. A. Ballinger' 266. New Zealanders to win one pound each in the Paine Aggregate were: Yennel, Masefield, W. H. Ballinger. In the Mot ton event (400 yards), C. Williamson (Sydney) and T. Rayner (Helensburgh) tied and divided first and second prize money. New Zealanders to win one pound each were: Carter, Robertson, Powell, Goodall, Higgs, E. A. Ballinger. The Jamieson match (700 yards) was won by Richards (Queensland). New Zealanders who won one pound each were: Goodall, W. H. Ballinger, Green, Masefield, E. A. Ballinger.
