(Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.) LADY TOURIST’S CLAIM. VANCOUVER, Oct. 4. A statement of claim has been issued out of the Supreme Court of the Province of Alberta on behalf of Mrs Marion Laurie, of London, against R. S. Stronacb, the Superintendent of Rocky Mountain National Park, aim Jack Warren, the Ch-Vf Warden. She claims 2,750 dollars and costs of the action for injuries received on May 31st last, when her arm was bitten by a bear at a cabin, permitted to be erected by the Superintendent for the accommodation of tourists. Airs Laurie was injured while on her return journey to England from •> visit to her brother in Australia. She had offered the bear chocolates.
