Joyce James, aged G| years, sustained very serious injuries this afternoon through being knocked down by a motor ear in Adelaide Road. The little girl apparently stepped suddenly off the footpath right in front of the car. She was taken to a grocer’s shop, outside ol which the accident occurred. A doctor ordered her not to Ik? removed. At a late hour tonight she was still unconscious.
