In a good start, Drawbridge immediately took the lead, and showed the wayout to the straight, where Beedos shot to the front, and established a couple of lengths advantage, which lie held till leaving the hack. Alurillo made a great run on the inside, rounding tho bend, and went to the front passing .fie Loger stand, and in an excellent finish, came on to win from Limerick by three and a-hnlf lengths. Horton Gag was three lengths away third. Time 2.535. First Steeplechase.—Ponipene 1, Mendit 2, Prince Ariin 3. AA’on by two and a-half lengths. Time 4.39.
