BOWLING.

The Hokitika Bowling Club will open the season officially on Saturday afternoon next when a cordial invitation is extended to visitors to he present. The green is receiving attention during the week and should he in very fair order for the opening. The usual game for opening day will be played sides being chosen representing the President (Mr J. B. Ward) and Vice-President (Mr .T. King). Afternoon tea will he dispensed, Mesdames Ward and King being the hostesses for the afternoon. During the week the green will be available for members for a roll up every evening.
