A meeting of the Trustees of the Hokitika Savings Bank will be held on Monday next at 2.30 j>.m.
In the final of the Greymouth Goll Club’s Indies’ cnampionship Mrs Hannan (holder) defeated Mrs P. J. McCarthy 2up and 1. This is Mrs McCarthy’s second year as a golfer. She won the junior championship last year, and her son won the Greylnouth men’s championship this year, and was runner up for the West Coast championship. Drivers of motor cars are requested to use extreme care when using tho roads within ten miles of Moodstock next Wednesday evening, _as hundreds of motorists will be taking passengers to Woodstock to attend the monster ball to be held there. The floor is being specially prepared and the Black Hand Orchestra will keep patrons busy with their newest and very latest jazz effects.—Advt.
