BOSS NEWS.

(Freni Our Own Correspondent). The Do-s Fire Brigade's Annual Ball takes place on Friday evening and promises to he fully up to the standard of the previous ones. The tickets have found ready sale and iL is understood liberal patronage is forthcoming from both the north and southern districts. The hall is being specially decorated with streamers of the brigade's colours (blue and red) and with evergreens. Old-time dances will constitute tho major portion of the programme till mid-night, so that all tastes will be catered for, while the music will fie supplied by Miss Evans’ Orchestra. The supper arrangements are being attended to by a ladies' committee.
