The total amount handled on the totalisator was £50,668. Receipts for the meeting totalled £101,759, a decrease of £30,960, over last year. Results:— Kingsland Hurdle Race.—Kendal 1, Glenotus 2, Te Talii 3. Won by seven lengths. Time 4.21. Nursery Handicap.—Orewa 1, Second Wind 2, Nanking Blue 3. Won by a length. Time 1.13. Alount Albert Handicap.—Waltzer 1, Whaka King 2, Bahama. 3. Won by a neck. Time 1.27. Plumpton Handicap.—Royal Atint 1, Golden Krist 2, Lord Star 3. Won by two lengths. Avondale Guineas.—Laughing Prince 1, Great Charter 2, Catkin 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.55 2-5. The President’s Handicap.—Sir Archie 1, Delightment 2, Nancy Lee 3. Won bj- three lengths. Time 1.24. New Lynn Handicap.—Alonsoa 1, Killute 2, Hanger’s Arch 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.56. Nihotapu Handicap.—Gala Day 1, Nucleus 2, Thursby 3. Won by a head. Time 1.40 2-5.
