TRAPPED IN BLAZE. AUCKLAND. September 25. Very severe burns to the face and hands was sustained by Matthew A\ ishart. seaman, aged 55, through being trapped in a burning room in the uppei storey of a wooden house at 25 Howe Street, shortly after nine o’clock this morning. Wishar't was in ill health and consequently was unable to escape from the building. He was found by firemen in an unconscious state on the floor of the room and was immediately conveyed to the hospital where he is reported to be in a very grave condition. The house was tenanted by W. E. Hooton with whom Wish art lived. Two roms on the upper storey were extensively damaged by the outbreak
