(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) THE HOUSE. WELLINGTON. Sept. 21. At the evening session the Prime Minister moved a motion that the House approve of the Government’s proposal to grant a subsidy of £IOO.000 towards the Singapore Naval Base. After a debate lasting till 12.35 the motion was carried by 51—10. The House rose at 12.40 a.m.
