The third annual championship show of the British Alsatian Association held at Sparkbrook, Birmingham, yesterday, attracted an entry of 679 dogs, 78 more than last year. The <lngs included one handsome specimen valued at £1,500. Women took a keen interest in the animals. Miss AI. L. Chadwick, Snitterfield, Warwickshire, who was a successful exhibitor, acted as interpreter to Herr Sievers, of Germany, who was one ot the judges and knew no English. Mr W R Partridge was the other judge. The best bitch in the show vtas Seffe Von Blnsienberg, shown by Mrs E. R. and Aliss J. Workan, of Hayling Island Hampshire. The best dog which also took ten first prizes in the show, was Alanto Bergerlnst of Starkermnrk, owned by Air J. AV. E. .Gordon Stewart, ot Ipswich . These, were the champions of the show. The preserve- dog was Coronach ot Hurworth, owned by Aliss AI. V ■ Rogerson of Darlington.
