LONDON’S STREET PERIL. LONDON. Aug. 28. The growing peril of London’s streets is shown by the official figures issued by t!ie metropolitan police. Ln the first six months of the present year, 475 people were killed in street accidents. Nearly half of those people were Killed while crossing the street; 117 through crossing without care; 50 through hesitating; and 3G through passing between stationary vehicles. The mouths of April, May, and June averaged three persons killed and injured in London streets every day.
