DAXNEViRKE RACES. DANNEV - HIKE, Sept. 15. The Dnnnevirke Racing Club’s Spring Meeting was held in ideal weather. The track was in good condition, and the attendance up to average. 'Hie totalisator handled 1110,347, against 612,114 last year. The only accident ol the day occurred in the Ruahine Hack. -Miss liupaiia falling through galloping on the heels of another horse, anti, breaking her neck. Results:— Glengarry Hack Hurdi’es. —Rod lus cilia 1, Biillyfavnon 2, Arataura 3. Won by a length. Time 2.49. Tiratu AI aide n Stakes.—Grey Alist 1, Abisogne 2, Borselenc 3. AY on by a length and a-lialt. Time 1.3 4-5. President’s Handicap.—Arrow Lad 1, Royal Land 2, Beaumont 3. Won easily by three lengths. Time 1.16 2-5. Utmutoaroa Hack.—limitation 1, Wanderlust 2, Art'll Arrow 3. Won by :i head. Time 1.17 2-5.
Neagle Memorial.—Royal Game 1, Tame Fox 2, Trcslmm 8. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time 2.10 2-5. Tulioraite Hack.—Essential 1, Tanagr:i 2, Moepai 3. Hall a length each wav. Time 1.32. Ruahine Handicap.—AVillow AVai 1, Dipso? 2, Starboard Light 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.30 1-5. Harris Cup Hack Handicap.—Ccrf 1, Grand National 2. Moepai 3. Won by a head. Time 1.42,3-5. SYDNEY, September 14. Mint- Leaf after exercising developed a swell ing of the olf fetlock joint and it- will he a few days before tbo nature of the trouble is known. Lineage is also amiss, it developed hoot' trouble necessitating an easing up of training.
