found electrocuted. WELLINGTON, Sept. 14. While playing about on the town belt yesterday afternoon, a hoy named Gwynne came across the body of a man lying about ten feet from one of the poles carrying the electric cables. Enquiries disclosed that the man was Thompson Thomas Faulkner, of 7 John Street. Death was caused by electrocution, his hands and one shoulder being badly burned. A length of galvanished fencing wire was coiled round the body and a loose end must have come in contact with the high tension line. It is stated that deceased had been suffering for some time with asthma.
The first of the spring hats have come to hand and are now on view at McKay* s.—Ad vt.
