As a result of a visit to the district of some 'Government rangers, prosecutions in respect to shooting game out of season will follow. Mr Seddon M.P. who wrote the Minister of Public Works regarding placing more unemployed on the Dorothy Falls road relief works, has received a reply stating that Mr "Williams is looking into the matter, and will communicate further with Mr Seddon oil the subject when the local position is ascertained.
Mr Seddon (Westland) speaking yesterday on the Agricultural Estimates drew the Government’s attention to £2.5 being .spent on Ross Lime Coy. and nothing this year, £2OO being voted as a subsidy to the Farmers’ Cooperative Lime Companies and only £2B expended. Speaking on Forestry, Mr Seddon complained of the ruin caused by deer to forests.
