II V TELEGRAPH —WtESS ASS.V., COPYRIGHT. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 13. The annual meeting of the Council of the New Zeai’and Bowling Association was held to-day, when Mr A. J. Beni'.ie, of Christchurch, was elected president. The retiring president, Air .1. W. Hard ley, said the Association was in an excellent position. The balance sheet showed a credit, of £73 on the year’s working, making the total £193.
The Council decided to hold the next annual toiurnament at Christchurch, beginning on January 10th. 1928. The Selectors appointed io pick a team to visit Melbourne and play in Australia in December were:—A. K. Smith (New Plymouth), J. Kershaw (Wellington), J. M. Thomson (Auckland). .T. Aloyes (Timaru), I). AL Fustier (Dunedin), A. J. Benzie (Christchurch).
