GERMANY SNUBBED. LONDON, Aug. 28. According to inspired summaries Britain’s Koto concerning the evacuation of the Rhineland, contains a direct snub for Germany, says the “Daily News.” German newspapers report Sir Austen Chamberlain as saying that Germany had no right to intervene in the discussion. FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA. LONDON, Aug. 28. This mysterious advertisement appeared in the personal column of “ ’Hie Times” to-day: “Australian flight; opportunity for wealthy lady or gentleman to sec the world; British pilot excellent prospects assured.” The advertisement has no connection with the flight which Captain Lancaster. accompanied by Mrs Keith Miller, proposes to attempt about the middle of September.
