The leading teams in the sectional play at present are: Ruahine A (Dannevirke), Southland and Otago. A section—Taranaki 5, Wairarapa 0. Eastern 3, Manawatu B. 0. Section leaders at noon were: —Section A: Ruahine A., Canterbury; Section B: Southland. Manawatu A: Section C: Otago.
