HOKITIKA SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
MONDAY, SEPT. btn
The Committee met at 7 p.m. Present: Rev. J. \Y. Hayward (Chairman). Messrs Coulson, Pedder, Shannon, Sweney, Orr, Richards and Conning (lion see). Apology for absence was made for Mr Clarke. The minutes were continued and outward correspondence approved. The inward correspondence was only of a formal nature.—Received. The Visiting Committee (Mr Pedder) reported requirements asked for from the Board’s foreman had been attended to; that casters were required for piano and organ.—Received. Accounts as scheduled were passed for payment. Messrs Orr and Coulson were appointed vistors for the month. In reply to an enquiry it was stated that no report had been received of late from the Dental Clinic officer, and after discussion it was resolved that the Chairman enquire into the position of the Committee in regard to the work of the clinic and report at next meeting. The Comittee rose at 7.50 p.m.
